PT Pelayaran Nasional Ekalya Purnamasari (ELPI) was established in April 1992 in Ambon, with a primary focus on logistics solutions for the eastern region of Indonesia. In 2005, ELPI established a shipyard in Samarinda, followed by a shipyard in Gresik in 2012, which provided a competitive advantage in docking and vessel availability.
Over time, ELPI continued to grow by building its first aluminum vessel in 2007 and successfully obtaining its first offshore contract in 2009 with PT Total E&P Indonesia. In 2017, ELPI moved its head office to Surabaya to support operations. Currently, ELPI operates more than 100 fleet units consisting of Crewboat, Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS), Platform Support Vessel (PSV), and other special vessels.
With this diverse fleet, ELPI provides ship chartering services, offshore work, logistics, Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC), and training. ELPI's service approach emphasizes safety, clarity and efficiency, so that it can provide sustainable total marine solutions for customers
