EMB spans an area of approximately 3 hectares and has successfully built over 150 offshore vessels used by Oil and Gas Production Sharing Contractors (K3S), including crew boats, pilot boats, and various offshore support vessels (OSVs) such as Landing Craft Tanks (LCTs), tugboats, crew boats, and sea trucks.

EMB is one of the five largest shipbuilding companies in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, with an annual production capacity of 4,000–5,000 tons for both steel and aluminum vessels. The establishment of EMB is projected to facilitate docking project activities in Western Indonesia, in synergy with Orela Shipyard, which handles projects in Java, Eastern Indonesia, and even Malaysia.
